Today you have a reason to do absolutely no housework because today, April 7th, is No Houswork Day! Did you know about this fantastic holiday? I didn't either until a few years ago. Why this day is not more widely known is beside me but I will do my part to spread the word and I hope you will too. I'll shout it from the rooftops, post it on Facebook and Twitter. Everyone should know that there is one day that for 24-hours, you are exempt from doing any housework.
So what are you going to do with all this time on your hands? Don't even think about making a list of what you need to do. Don't even think about going onto Pintrest and find time saving creative ways to clean stains out of clothes. Do something fun. Do something for yourself. Hop on over to Mommyish and read the list Bethany Ramos compiled called "100 Awesome Ways To Celebrate NO Housework Day by NOT Doing Housework."
Right now I should be doing at least one load of laundry, sweeping or mopping the floor, or cleaning my desk. Instead I am taking time to write this informational post. (Plus my desk will easily take at two days clean, maybe three.) It's also my crafting station so you can just imagine what I am going to have to deal with. So I am going to go grab my book, my sunglasses and a tall glass of Grandma's Tea and go sit on the balcony. I might even listen to some tunes, take a nap or binge watch Netflix!
